This is a fabulous event for the little "Thomas" fans (and the family too!) Join Thomas & FriendsTM to enjoy train rides and take part in many Thomas-themed activities, most of which are free when you purchase tickets for the 12km steam train ride. Thomas the Tank Engine will be offering rides in his trucks. His friends Rusty and Bulgy will be there. Bulgy will be taking passengers on trips around the beautiful local countryside. And of course Sir Topham Hatt, the Fat Controller will be in charge for the day |

Face painting, storytelling, bouncy castle and other fun activities will be available free with your GVR Train Ticket. A wide range of Thomas & FriendsTM merchandise will be on sale, and refreshments will be available to purchase onsite. Two trains will be operating 12km trips over the GVR line, departing at 30-minute intervals. The first train departs at 9.30am, with the last train departing at 4pm. Entry to this event is FREE. The site is open from 9am – 4pm. Scheduled train times are below and you will receive an information handout upon entry. We recommend that you allow 3 hours for your "Day Out With Thomas" |
